Hello Firstname
Wednesday 6 February
On Wednesday we have a visitor from foreign climes, Michael O'Sullivan FIPF FRPS, who will be travelling from Ireland to present a mixed print and projected image talk. Michael's images give an unusual slant on studio and portrait work as you can see by looking at his FRPS panel by following this link.

Themed Summer Print Competition - D'oh!
In last week's item on the TSPC, David had a senior moment (glad I'm not the only one) and forgot to include the rule concerning the maximum number of prints you can submit. The rules should have read:

(a) This is a small open print competition.
(b) Maximum paper size A4
(c) Maximum number of prints - 3
(d) Unmounted.
(e) Images must be original work of member.
(f) Digital or darkroom manipulation allowed.
(g) Approximate location or locations of image elements to be stated on entry form.
(h) Images must have been taken between 1st February 2013 and the closing date.
(i) Closing date: Wednesday 31st July
(j) Images will be independently judged as individual prints.
(k) The results will be published on the 21st August and a display arranged on the club display boards for that date.

Smethwick International Exhibition - Double D'oh!
Last week I listed BPS successes in the Smethwick International Exhibitions and managed to get one or two of the totals wrong. The correct list should have read:

John Chamberlin - 17 (including 5 awards)
Val Duncan - 7 (including 1 award)
Greg Duncan - 6
Barry Mead - 5
Keith Wood - 5
Peter Smith - 2
Beryl Heaton - 1
Ann Mead - 1
David Southwell - 1

Apologies to all concerned.
