TSE All-Share Index
The All-Share Index of the Tehran Stock Exchange edged up 0.28% to close at 83,916. The top performing sector was Transportation & Logistics (+2.39%), boosted by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.46%). IT (-0.67%) was the weakest sector of the day. Metallic Ore (+0.32%) posted the highest turnover with IRR 124 billion (approx. USD 3 million) worth of trades, mostly due to Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (+0.44%). Today the stocks making the biggest impact on the All-Share Index included Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran (HMRZ +2.07%), Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.46%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +0.79%). The highest trading volume was posted by Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (+0.44%) with IRR 77 billion (approx. USD 1.9 million) of trades. Due to higher volumes in block trades and debt securities, the market’s total traded value reached IRR 3,748 billion (approx. USD 96 million), up 124% from the previous trading session.

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization added 0.29% to close at 3,404. Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ +2.46%) was the biggest gainer among the top 30 stocks, while Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.33%) saw the steepest drop. The top 30s traded value totaled IRR 306 billion (approx. USD 7.8 million), down 41% from the previous trading session.
