Dear classic car enthusiast,
A little later than expected you hereby receive ClassicarGarage Newsletter 64! I have been
on the road a lot and many new arrived classic and sports cars have been tested and photographed! In our region in Europe the fall has started in December... let's skip winter and hope for an early spring as it looks like in the pictures below! Today I present fourteen new arrived automobiles. Amongst others four magnificent Austin Healey's, a rare 1987 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, a very impressive 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL 'Batmobile', a tremendous 1992 Porsche 911/964 Carrera RS and the most beautifully preserved Triumph Herald convertible I ever saw! Very special is the 1937 Cord 812 SC Phaeton. Only 99 of these streamlined prewar cars with front wheel drive and supercharger have been built, very rare and desirable. Farther below you will find an overview of the classic cars and projects you may expect in ClassicarGarage Newsletter 65. Most of the listed automobiles have been tested and photographed this week. Austin Healey 3000 Mk I, year 1960. Colour black with a red leather interior trimmed with black piping. Black mohair soft top, tonneau cover and aluminium side screens. This is a rare BN7 two seater model, Chassis number HBN7L/6463. This fantastic Healey was extensively restored to perfection a few years ago. The automobile is in superb (excellent++) condition. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, year 1987. Colour black with a beige leather interior and a black soft top. This very exclusive Aston Martin is a scarce car, only 192 + 56 US models were ever built. The automobile was delivered new by Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills in 1988. The car was imported to the Netherlands in the year 1997. In NL the car was given a beautiful and expensive European chrome bumper conversion. The automobile is still like new! Superb (excellent++) condition, near concours! 16.700 miles. Read more.

BMW 3.0 CSL 'Batmobile', year 1973. Chassis number 2275320 Engine number 2275320, matching numbers (confirmed by BMW Germany) Colour Polaris metallic (code 060) with tri-colour side stripes and a black/anthracite interior. This original 3.0 CSL was sold new in Antwerp, Belgium. Since 1978 the car is registered in the Netherlands. A few years ago the car was extensively restored and overhauled for a BMW collector. Tested and photographed at Geert Jan Peters classic automobiles: Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior in very good to excellent condition. Pino Verde with cognac leatherette interior. A very rare 1940 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Turismo '5 posti' (restoration project for sale, Mille Miglia elegible!)
Tested and photographed at Imparts: 2002 Morgan 4/4 1800 Le Mans 62 limited edition. British Racing Green with black leather interior. Car number 79 of 80, superb (excellent++) condition! A 1985 Morgan +8 in excellent condition, Old English white with beige leather interior (piped dark red). A 1970 Rover P5B Coupe in very good condition running on petrol and LPG/GPL.
Tested and photographed at Amicale Facel Holland: A very rare Facel Vega Facel 6 cabriolet in good to very good condition (only 7 built). Colour blue metallic with a black leather interior. A 1958 Facel Vega Excellence in excellent to superb (excellent+) condition. Colour dark grey metallic with a beige leather interior. Further more two very interesting restoration objects: the last built Facel Vega HK 500 (fitted with manual gearbox and two Carter 'four barrel carburettors!) A Facel Vega FV 4 (fitted with the famous Chrysler Typhoon engine, manual gearbox and two Carter 'four barrel' carburettors.)
