Happy Spring!

Greetings!
Ahhh.... the days are getting warmer. This coming weekend is measuring up to be spectacular here in the Northwest! Thanks to all who came out to the shows this past month. My collaborations with Alicia Healey and Rod Cook were so much fun. May and June are busy months for me and will take me to the eastern side of the Cascades as well as the - now snow covered - state of Colorado. Hopefully the weather will improve there by late June. I will also be performing in my first Hootenanny at the historic Everett Theater in downtown Everett. I'm also looking forward to another new (to me) venue in Wenatchee called Tastebuds.

I really hope I get to see you in the coming weeks. Hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for checking out the newsletter!

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month

My friend and co writer of several recent songs, Lorraine Hart helped to raise my awareness of this dreadful disease that afflicts more than 16.000 people in America alone each year.

Hundreds of thousands of people suffer invisibly from tick-borne infections worldwide, Lyme being the most well-known.  Wrong guidelines have allowed the disease to grow to 4X that of AIDS in North America.  It's the disease no one knows about, and most doctors don't want to deal with, due to the political argument about treatment.  Caught in the first or second stage of the disease, Lyme is treatable, but left to advance to the third, tertiary stage, Lyme can devastate every system in the body.  Learn about Lyme, learn to keep yourself safe in our beautiful outdoors.
