Green Waste Facility (aka Landfill/dump) Now Open
Green waste facility open on Saturdays and Wednesdays (weather permitting)... 
 
Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm
Wednesdays 6:30 PM - 8 PM 
 
The facility will remain open throughout the season on Saturdays and on Wednesday evenings as long as there is a demand.
 
Only green waste is allowed.

Congratulations to our newest Town Council Member
Congratulations to Laurie Allen ...  Laurie is a lifelong resident of Huntsville and was selected to serve on the Town Council to fill the remaining 8 months of Councilman Steve Johnson's term.  Laurie will be sworn in during the next town council meeting on April 21, 2011.
 
Many qualified and talented residents volunteered for the position and we sincerely thank them for their desire to serve.
 
Our sincere thanks goes out to Steve Johnson and his family.   Steve has served the citizen's of Huntsville with honor, dignity and dedication and we have enjoyed working with him.
 
Steve and his family will be moving to Wyoming for a few months and we wish them well on their endeavor.

Capital Facilities Study
The study was completed by Sunrise Engineering...
 
and is a joint effort through Huntsville Town and Weber County.  An electronic copy of the report is available by clicking here.
 
A public meeting to discuss the results of the report will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7 PM at the Library in Huntsville.

Karen Kline was selected to serve as an alternate member of the Huntsville Planning Commission...
 
Doug Allen, who has served on the Planning commission for the past year, was selected to serve for a five year term.

Huntsville Has A New Full Color Copy Machine That is Available For Use
The town of Huntsville recently replaced their aging copy machine with a full color copy machine.  To assist with the expense, the machine will be available for residents who need color or black and white copies. 
 
The prices will be competitive with copy centers in Ogden and will be available when Gail or Ramona are at the Town Hall - typically weekday mornings, but call before you make a special trip.  801-745-3420.
