Streamline Your Meetings...
If you want to run an efficient, productive meeting, invite as few people as possible. If your company has regularly scheduled staff meetings, only those who will be discussing the agenda items should participate.
When extra people are in the meeting, off-topic discussions are more likely, which makes the meeting run longer and less efficiently.
In addition, excuse any members once their agenda item(s) have been discussed. They will no longer be adding value and may cause distractions.
Reunited And It Feels So Good...
If you’re getting together with family and friends this holiday season and you’re preparing potluck dishes to take along, grab your phone and take a picture of all the dishes and serving utensils you’re bringing with you. Once the meal is over and cleanup is underway, you can review the photo to make sure all those items find their way back home.
Organizing Classes...
There are no scheduled public classes for December due to the holidays. We have many sessions scheduled for the New Year. Watch for dates and times in upcoming newsletters, on Facebook and listed on our website.
Community Events...
DP&L Free Applicance Pickup and Recycling
Save up to $150 on your energy bill every year by letting DP&L pick up and recycle your old (working) refrigerator or freezer. Plus, they'll pay you $50 per appliance.
