An Overview of the 1999 Season
For the 1999 season, Six Flags
Great Adventure declared a "War On Lines" adding more than 25 new rides and attractions throughout the park in order to deal with the increases in attendance the park experienced throughout the 1990's. The rides were all shapes and sizes and geared towards every age and thrill level from a world-class, first of its kind
roller coaster with Medusa to
an all new children's section
doubling the number of rides
for the youngest guests with the
addition of Looney Tunes Seaport.
