Event Newsflash: SATURDAY 9th JUNE

Stitch and the London Knit Crawl (free stuff!)

Saturday the 9th of June is Worldwide Knit in Public Day . Hurrah! What better time than this to get out there and show the world what you can do with your sticks and string? Shake off your shackles of shyness, air out your finest knitted garments, sharpen your most fabulous needles, get out in the open and purl in public (whether the public like it or not).

Knitters from New York to New Zealand will be getting out there and purling in public, and S&B Londoners are doing it too with the world’s most ambitious London Knit Crawl. From St Pauls to the Tate to the Eye and ending in our home from home Trafalgar Square with its lions.

We will be giving out 10% discount vouchers for Rowan and Jaegar Yarn, Innocent Smoothie vouchers, and free Innocent Smoothie knitting patterns.

Also in celebration of this fabulous day, All the Fun of the Fair, on Carnaby Street, will also be giving a 10% discount to anyone making a purchase on the 9th June. So make the most of this special offer S&B Londoners!

Grab your most portable project and join us knitting in at some of London’s most famous landmarks. Come and knit at just one, or buy yourself a Travelcard and do them all. Soon all of London will submit to the knit!
