|
On Saturday 23rd May 2015, members of Old Priory Lodge, supported by members of St. David’s Lodge, Strumble Lodge and Tenby Lodge held a Charity Night to raise money for The Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court Home in Porthcawl. There was entertainment provided by Marc Devonald (Disco), Chris Didcote (Singer) & Dave Hitchcock (Magician). There was also a free buffet arranged by Mrs Kim Thomas the Old Priory WM’s wife, which also was enjoyed by all.
The event raised the fabulous sum of £1118.00 which was presented at the Friend’s Strawberry Tea in June by the Old Priory Lodge WM, W Bro Gary Thomas (pictured above). |

Graham Elliott Celebrates in Style!
|
W Bro Graham Elliott is a familiar face around the Province of West Wales and the good news is, that despite the 75th birthday “treat” organised by his children, he is likely to be with us for many years to come. His children decided it would be a good idea to take their father to Zip World in North Wales to celebrate his big birthday. The experience involves flying head-first, for just under a mile exceeding speeds of 100mph down a mountain and then straight over a cliff, 500ft above a quarry lake with spectacular views as far out as Ireland.
As Graham said: “Do you think my children who bought this trip for me are trying to tell me something?” |
The September meeting will be held at South Pembrokeshire Golf Club, Pembroke Dock on Friday 4th, September 2015. It is a glorious 18 hole Golf course, with views across the Milford Haven waterway and some interesting holes. This will be the first of the seasons qualifiers for the Provincial Trophies (2015/16)
Cost is £30.00 inclusive of coffee/bacon roll on arrival; 18 holes of golf; followed by a meal and presentations. Tee off times 10.30am. to 12.00pm. Please arrive by 10.00/10.30. Full details are available by clicking here.
