TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share
Index closed down 0.11% on the first day of the trading week at 78,652. Paper
Products (+1.08%) was the top performing sector of the day, while Rubber
& Plastics (-1.01%) led losers. Automotive (+0.55%) posted the highest
trading volume of IRR 80 billion (approx. USD 2.3 million). Weighing most on
the index were Mellat Bank (BMLT -3.51%), Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA
-1.17%) and MAPNA Group (MAPN -0.85%). The most traded stock was Silica Sand
Manufacturing Co. (TAMI +2.42%) with volume of IRR 34 billion (approx. USD
0.9 million). In total 428 million securities were traded on the TSE for IRR
1,119 billion (approx. USD 30 million), down 45% from the previous trading
session on Wednesday.
TSE30 Index
The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization slipped
0.23% to close at 3,042. Iran Khodro (IKCO +1.18%) was the only significant
gainer among the top 30s. The biggest faller was Mellat Bank (BMLT -3.51%).
In total the top 30s trading volume fell 9.3% to IRR 113 billion (approx.
USD 3 million).
