 Our fifth annual neighborhood search for Waldo and his friends has begun!
The Where's Waldo Shop Local treasure hunt began on Sunday, July 1st, and continues through Tuesday, July 31st. We are handing out exactly 250 passports, so get yours now if you haven't already - they are available on a first come, first serve basis! Each passport lists the participating merchants where Waldo hunters can seek their elusive prey.
This month-long scavenger hunt is hosted by 250 independent bookstores across the U.S. who champion the "shop local" message by enlivening downtown areas with the free community-wide activity. Little Waldo cutouts will be hidden in the shops listed in your passport. Once you find 25 Waldos, come back to the bookstore and pick up your prize! You can win Waldo books, gift certificates from local merchants, and the grand prize of a handmade quilt on display at the bookstore!
For those who like a challenge, find at least one of the five lost items cleverly hidden here at the bookstore. The first five people to find all of Waldo's missing items hidden in our store will instantly win a $5 Bookshop West Portal gift certificate!
