SURREY SCOUT WATER ACTIVITIES CLUB

If the events advertised here are not of interest to you, but you know someone who may be interested, please forward this email. Hopefully there is something in 2019 that means we get to see you on the water.
It's been a good winter, with trips each month, to Dartmoor and Wales, and the traditional Boxing Day paddle, this time on the Thames.
Now, as Spring approaches, the club is about to get busy with lots of courses, and a few local trips. Have a look at the attachments to find out more.
Due to a clash with another important event, the March Mole trip has been replaced by one in May.
British Canoeing has renamed some awards, so the old 1* is now known as the Discover award, and the 2* has become the Explorer award. The May Discover/Explore award is fully subscribed, but there are places on the June course.
Also attached is the club programme, extending well into 2020, allowing you to plan well ahead.
If you are able to offer help to coach/lead on these events, please let me know ASAP.
