January 2020
Happy New Year!

Looking at the numerology for this year, we notice the presence of 2, which symbolizes feminine energy and the themes of balance, support, and creative cooperation. Collectively, we are evolving the balance of masculine and feminine energies, and this is how we bring healing to the world and to our relationships. This year is a good time to simply ask for Divine guidance and support. Ask and you shall receive!

As we are officially in the Winter season now, this can be a time to appreciate the unique beauty of winter: notice the bright stars, the evergreens, the holly berries. Winter can give the opportunity to rest and reflect and restore ourselves. Allow yourself time to create cozy and comforting experiences such as warm tea, soft blankets, candles. Go for some nature walks and bring some nature indoors - evergreen sprigs, pinecones, etc. Don't forget about sharing your cozy experiences, and allow connection with others during this inward time, as well! And, of course, include yoga and meditation in your self care! There will be some beautiful classes this winter - see below!

Mata Shakti Ashram welcomes your support! How can you help?
Time and Talent: help with yard and garden maintenance, upkeep of classroom and workshop/training spaces, vegetarian raw food prep, help with social media and technology. Talk to your friends and personal community about Mata Shakti Ashram, for we are truly "grass roots"!
Finance/Funds: Donations of money to assist Mata Shakti Ashram pay the overhead cost for the current space, pay guest teachers, and provide some scholarships to those in need. Let us know how much you are willing to pledge monthly or yearly over the next year to 5 years, as we prepare the non-profit status. Every donation will receive a class pass to share with a friend to acquaint them with the ashram.
