In The News...

You may find these two articles published in Lori’s Dayton Daily News column helpful if you have plans to get more organized.

Give inherited items the boot...

If you have items and files in your office and desk which once belonged to the employee who occupied your space before you, it may be time to get them out of your way. Storing items from the previous employee often gets in the way of you doing your work more efficiently.

If it’s been awhile since you’ve taken over this office and you haven’t found a need for these items, ask your supervisor if they can be thrown out or archived in another part of the building. You will free up space to bring your creativity to the job you are presently doing.

Enjoy a bottle of wine and stay organized...

Now that cold weather is here many of us are wearing tall boots. To keep them upright and more organized place an empty wine bottle in them. The bottle keeps them from falling over and helps keep them from creasing. A large plastic water bottle or rolled up magazine will also do the trick.

Events...

Drug Drop-off Day

Dispose of expired/unwanted medications at Hithergreen Center on Monday, November 19 from 10am-2pm. Their location is 5900 Hithergreen Dr. Dayton, OH 45429. The program provides a disposal method which is safe for the environment and keeps our water system and wildlife protected from these harmful chemicals.

If you know of an event in you community that would help others get organized please let us know lori@forteorganizers.com to have it listed in future newsletters.
