The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share
Index made further slight gains today, adding 0.03% to close at 77,523.
Construction (+0.97%) led the risers among sectors while Metallic Products
(-1.88%) was the weakest. Chemical sector (+0.06%) posted the highest daily
trade volume, with IRR 125 billion (approx. USD 3.3 million) worth of trades.
Today the companies making the largest impact on the All-Share Index were
Telecommunication Company of Iran (MKBT +0.51%), Mellat Bank (BMLT +0.92%)
and Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +0.94%). MAPNA Group (MAPN +0.52%)
recorded the highest trade volume, with IRR 75 billion (approx. USD 2
million) of shares traded. The market’s total traded value dropped 42% to
IRR 831 billion (approx. USD 22 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty
largest companies by market capitalization closed barely changed at 3,105, up
0.10% on the day. Iran Khodro (IKCO +1.03%) was the biggest gainer while
SAIPA Group (SIPA -0.43 %) saw the largest decline. Total traded value of the
top 30 stocks reached IRR 217 billion (approx. USD 5.7 million), a gain of 8%
from the previous trading session.
