MARY ROACH and JON MOOALLEM
The Best American Science and Nature Writing
Tuesday, October 11 at 7 PM
Don't miss Mary Roach and Jon Mooallem as they team up for a very lively discussion and reading this evening.
The outrageously curious Roach (author of Packing for Mars, Stiff, Spook and Bonk) has edited this year's collection of the best and brightest writers on science and nature. Jon Mooallem, a former kosher butcher and recent contributor to Harper's, the Nation, and Salon.com, will read his essay, "The Love That Dare Not Squawk Its Name," selected from the New York Times Magazine, where he is a contributing writer.
