Another wonderful week at Daisy Brook has passed us by!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
-Tuesday, Feb 25 5th grade to Symphony
-Tuesday, Feb. 25th Daisy Brook Spelling Bee winners compete at the District Bee
-Tuesday, March 3-Science Fair
-Monday, March 9 Kids Have Rights lessons for 3rd grade
-Tuesday, March 10 Kids Have Rights lessons for 4th grade
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-ON March 9th and 10th staff members from Newaygo County Prevention of Child Abuse will be presenting lessons to our 3rd and 4th graders about body safety. The program is called Kids Have Rights and a letter is attached with details. Please let me know if you have any questions.
-4th graders are spending an additional 30 minutes with Mrs. Kallenbach each Friday for the next several weeks to prepare for LINK UP. They are excited about recorders!
CELEBRATIONS
-Daisy Brook students raised over $4800 for the American Heart Challenge! Way to go kids!
-Our 3rd graders were able to spend some time with our FHS Cross County runners as they came in to read to our classes again. We enjoy our time with these student athletes!
-Today all of our students watched the showing of “Big Bad” as presented by the FHS Theater group. Many students commented on how hilarious this was and enjoyed their trip to the Dogwood Center!
