Fresh Spiced Cranberry and Orange Chutney

12 oz package of fresh cranberries

1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup of sugar (white or brown)

1/2 tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg

1 orange, peeled and chopped into bite size pieces

Directions: Wash, drain and place cranberries, water and sugar into saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on medium heat, covered, for approximately 20 min until cranberries are soft and dark red. Add cinnamon and nutmeg and let cool slightly. Stir in orange slices. Refrigerate until cold. It's that easy! (add chopped walnuts for an extra option)
