RETURN TO ROOT DOWN! - This Sunday afternoon, September 4, our 5-piece returns to the Root Down Biergarten, 425 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA. This is a free, all ages, outdoor show from 3:00 to 6:00. If it rains, we move inside to Root Down Brewing, 1 North Main St., Phoenixville. http://www.rootdownbrewing.com
Four days later, on Thursday evening, Sept. 8, Grandy and I return to Root Down Brewing for an acoustic duo show from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. We continue to play there every other Thursday night (alternating w/ Mike Carato) so we'll be back on Thursday, Sept. 22 (first day of autumn).
4TH ANNUAL BEATLES TRIBUTE! - It's true! On Saturday evening, September 10 (full moon), The Mighty Manatees will host a tribute to the Fab Four. Approximately 40 Beatles songs will be performed! Special musical guests include Mike Greer, Bob Tomlinson, and guitarist Jim Tauscher. It all takes place at the Ukrainian-American Sports Center, 1 Lower State Road, North Wales, PA. Showtime is 6:00 - 10:00.
This is an all ages, outdoor event. If it rains, the event will be moved inside. Tickets available at the door. Goo goo g'joob!
ST. PETERS VILLAGE - Our acoustic trio plays on Thursday evening, September 15, at Studio 3250, 3250 St. Peters Road, St. Peters, PA, (the upper parking lot across from the inn). Showtime is 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Special thanks to Chris Dilworth.

VIRGO-A-GO-GO @ ED ROCKS! - Grandy Wagner, Tim Hooper, Ed Rocks, Tom Brunner, John Wyslow, Charlie Juneau, and I all have birthdays in September. We will combine them all into a major rager at Ed Rocks, in Bethlehem, PA, on Sunday afternoon, September 18. Showtime is 2:00 to 6:00 PM. It will be an afternoon of Virgo Rock. There will be musical guests, birthday cake, and some cards to sign.
CHARLESTOWN PARK FREE CONCERT! - We return to Charlestown Park on Saturday afternoon, September 24, as part of the Charlestown Day celebration. Ray Adkins' James Taylor tribute band, One Man Dog, performs from 10:30 - 12:30, and then we play from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Special thanks to Makinlee Fox.
THE FITZWATER STATION - Our second last Fitzwater show of the year takes place on Sunday afternoon, September 25, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM w/ Brian Herder on dobro and electric guitar. http://www.fitzwaterstation.com

THIS JUST IN! - Longtime Manatee fan and friend, Dancing Tommy was involved in a motorcycle accident on Monday. He broke a hip and a thumb. No one else was involved. All of us here at Manatee International wish Tom a quick and complete recovery.
