 The Minyan Monthly
Shanah Tovah!
Yashar koach to all who organized and participated in our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.   This augers to be another great year for the Library Minyan.  As we enter the new year, I also want to express gratitute to our outgoing Minyan Master Abby Harris for years of work and dedication.  I wish everyone a happy and blessing-filled 5773 — Scott Taryle
Thinking of Sponsoring a Library Minyan Kiddush?
The minyan welcomes and appreciates those who contribute to or enhance our Shabbat kiddush.  There are several ways to enhance our shabbat kiddush. You can sponsor the entire kiddush for a major simchah, using either a caterer (broad menu options) or the in-house staff (fewer menu options and lower cost). You can join in sponsoring a Library Minyan Co-Sponsored Kiddush, which we try to arrange every 1-2 months, but you may need to be flexible on the date. You can join in sponsoring and/or executing a "Kiddush Shelanu," where we prepare all or part of the meal ourselves. And most simply, you can contribute toward our basic kiddush, with no change in the standard menu (including our ever popular cholent).  For a minimum donation of $100 to a basic kiddush, you can request a mention in the Temple Beth Am Shabbat Bulletin.  More details can be found at www.libraryminyan.org.under the tab for Food at the Minyan/ Kiddush, then click the link under Kiddush Options.

New LM Membership Committee Chair
Mazal Tov to Susan Laemmle, on becoming the new Chair of the Library Minyan's Membership Committee!  The LM Membership Committee exists to reach out to prospective and new members of the Minyan, and to help members, both new and long-standing, find outlets for service and participation in the Minyan according to their abilities and interests.  The Committee welcomes your ideas, suggestions, and input.
New Torah Reading Coordinator
After many years of excellent service to the Minyan as Torah Reading Coordinators, Menachem and Shulie Wities are passing the "yad" to our new Torah Reading Coordinator, Aron Wolf.  Todah rabah, Menachem and Shulie for all you have done, and to Aron for taking on this role.
