The Wheel, Ireland’s largest representative and support body for the voluntary sector, is holding a short, but
highly impactful
event with
Nessa Childers MEP on 9 December. This is an opportunity for representatives from the community, voluntary and charity sector to find out more know more about European funding and policy influencing opportunities. Through lively and interactive discussions, participants will be asked to explore the following questions:
- What is your experience of accessing EU funding for your organisation?
- What is your engagement with your MEPs?
- How will Irish voluntary and charitable organisations be impacted by Brexit?
- What can you do to better engage with Europe?
What? The Wheel supports and represents over 1,300 organisations around Ireland. Over 26,000 people are employed by our member organisations and 1.9M people benefit from the work of our members. An estimated 50 people from the sector will attend this event in Dublin, keen to learn more about EU funding and policy and to participate in the discussion.
