Good news! Bookshop West Portal will now be offering curbside pickup for scheduled orders Monday-Saturday, starting Monday, May 18th from 11 AM - 4 PM.
How does curbside pick-up work?

Place an order online at bookshopwestportal.com or email us at info@bookshopwestportal.com.

Call (415) 564-8080. Due to high demand, if you call during our pickup hours we may not be able to answer. Please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Once your web order is placed, select curbside pick-up from the shipping options.

Please give us 2-3 days to fulfill your order. We will call or email to schedule your pickup date.
After placing a web order, you will receive a confirmation email from when your order is placed. Please wait for an additional email letting you know when you are scheduled to pick up your order.
Please note:
If the book is in stock at the store, the turnaround time may be faster. If we have to special order your book, please allow for extra shipping time.

When your order is scheduled, you can come to pick up your books between 11-4 PM Monday-Saturday.
Curbside Pickup Guidelines:

A mask must be worn at all times to receive your books.

If there is a line, you must stand six feet apart. Spaces will be marked for your convenience.

We will meet you at the door. Let us know your name and we will grab your order for fast, contactless service.
Our store will not be open for browsing, but we have updated our website to include new releases for kids and adults, as well as staff picks. We are working hard to expand browsability on our website. If you need a recommendation or help finding a gift, please call or email us. We are happy to help!
