What is Movember?
Movember is the month formerly known as November, where men and women across the globe join together to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues. Moustache season is about real men growing real moustaches and talking about real issues. On Movember 1st Mo Bros start the month clean shaven, then grow and groom their moustache all month long.
Once again the Province of West Wales will be using the event to raise awareness about men's health issues and will be encouraging lodges to donate any money raised to The West Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group. Everything you need to know about our campaign can be found on the Provincial website.

The Freemasons’ Grand Charity has approved grants totalling £864,000 to be donated to 53 charities.

MAJOR GRANTS

28 charities will receive grants totalling £797,000 as part of the Major Grants Scheme in support of Medical Research, Youth Opportunities, Vulnerable People and Religious Buildings.

Youth Opportunities

Amongst the grants in support of Youth Opportunites is £10000 to Farms for City Children who have three farms, one of which is in St David's, Pembrokeshire, to enable disadvantaged children from urban areas to experience life on a farm.

The Father & Son Mystery
When Elaine Baker’s mother passed away, Elaine discovered an Aladdin’s Cave of Masonic memorabilia which had belonged to her father, Ronald Hargreaves and her paternal Grandfather, Gilbert Hargreaves. Both were members of Calder Lodge No. 4564 which meets in Padiham, Lancashire. Click here to find out how the trail led back to Tenby, "where the sun always shines!"
