Psalm 145:17, 20 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works ... The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.

YOUR RELIABLE GOD -- WHEN YOU DEPEND ON HIM FOR JUSTICE, HE DELIVERS

There is a lot of injustice in this world. It happens every day -- from slights at work or at school to people literally getting away with murder. However, we may rely on God for justice. "The LORD is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works ... The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy" (Psalm 145:17, 20).

On Judgment Day there will be no hypocrisy allowed. There will be no beating the system. The same truth about salvation that God has proclaimed from the beginning will hold true. He will preserve all who love Him -- those who have come to believe in Jesus as their Savior. He will destroy the wicked, the unbelievers. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ruth, John, Peter, all were saved in the same way that you and I have been: by trusting that their sins were paid for by Jesus.

We don't have to try to get justice by our own hands (revenge) or get jealous because it seems that the unbelievers are flourishing and the believers are suffering. Justice will be served. God is fair and just. Don't concern yourself with life being fair. Life might not seem fair from our perspective, but we can rely on God's justice. It will all be sorted out on the Last Day, and God's promises and punishments will be visible to all. It is a waste of time to be jealous or selfish or vengeful because that is relying on ourselves rather than on God.

Today be thankful that God has removed a ton of stress from you. If you are stressed, it is because you are not relying on God. When we do rely on Him for our needs, to answer our cries for help and for justice, this frees up a whole lot of time and takes away worry. Praise God. Thank Him for His reliability. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD, and all flesh shall bless His holy name forever and ever (Psalm 145:21).
