The van we drive to all our project sites across the city is almost as old as our organization (we’re 20 this year!)… yet we depend on it for the success of our five Signature Days of Service with thousands of volunteers and bi-weekly events for teams of corporate volunteers.

 

For these events, L.A. Works transports: hundreds of gallons of paint; ladders; brushes; boxes of metal grids; roller frames and covers;  buckets; miles of drop cloths;  water jugs; shovels; spades; pick axes; hoes; hedge trimmers; plants, ground cover, flowers, and trees; wheel barrows; bags of soil; gravel; and lumber!
