July 2018
Reduced stress. Increased productivity. Improved well-being.
Forte Organizers helps individuals and families stay organized at home, as well as teaching business people organization skills at work.
In The News...

Celebrate freedom from clutter with Lori's most recent Dayton Daily News columns:
Paper Purge...

Your office paperwork can become overwhelming and can get out of control fast!  You don’t really need to keep every piece of paper that crosses your desk indefinitely.  Mark your documents and files with the dates that they can be discarded or shredded, then follow through with the paper purge on a designated day every week.

Just remember that some legal and financial documents must be kept for a certain length of time, so make sure know those requirements.

Kid Chaos...

The kids are home more in the summer, which means their stuff is left around the house a lot more too!

If you are having trouble keeping the house tidy, then pick up their stuff and place it on their chair where they eat dinner.  They have to take all of their things on the chair to their room before they can sit down to the meal.

Tackling a little bit every single day won't be as overwhelming.

Organizing Classes...

There aren't any public organizing classes scheduled during the summer.  Take this chance to enjoy some time with your family!  Lori will begin teaching her seminars again in September.

Welcome Samantha...

Forte Organizers is excited to welcome our newest Team Member, Samantha Boyer!  Samantha (or Sam) has already begun working with our organizing clients, and has proven to be a wonderful addition to our team.

Samantha worked as an elementary school teacher for eleven years, which gives her special insights into how to organize the children and students in your lives.  She has three children of her own, so she knows the complexities of balancing family life.

If you need an expert mover to help you pack or unpack your household, Samantha is it.  She has many out-of-state moves under her belt.  Besides her moving skills, Sam is a certified welder.  She is our resident handywoman and is perfect for assembling special projects.  She loves working with tools, and would be perfect for organizing your garage or workshop.  She doesn't shy away from heavy lifting and also enjoys kitchen organizing.

Whether you need your tupperware drawers cleaned out, your tool bench tidied or you just need general organizing help, Samantha is the Forte team member for you!

Welcome Samantha!

Lose Your Stuff, Find Yourself...

Enjoy this excerpt from Lori's book:

"Ask yourself, "Why am I taking my time to maintain, stack and trip over items that I no longer use?  Why do I allow this excess stuff to take up space in my home and create additional work for me?

Take a walk through your home.  Instead of letting all of the emotions you normally attach to your stuff come out, I want you to start seeing the excess items in your home as anchors.  These anchors weigh you down and take up the valuable time you have left."
