Hwlfordd Chapter Presentation to West Wales Festival
At the Installation meeting of Hwlffordd Chapter No 464, held in Haverfordwest on Monday 4th Dec 2023,  newly installed First Principal Ex Companion Stephen Blowes presented a cheque for £1000 towards the  2026 festival to the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Ex Companion James Ross.

The “Going for Gold” campaign was launched at the St Peter’s Lodge’s installation. On the evening the lodge donated a massive of £10,000 to the 2026 Festival appeal. As a recognition of this generous contribution, the master of the lodge was presented with a bronze medal, highlighting the achievement of contributing over £600 per member.
In a very busy week, the leader of the West Wales Freemasons James Ross presented Bronze medals to the Frenni, Tenby, and Peterwell Lodges. In total 7 Lodges have made contributions of £600 or over per member to the 2026 Festival.
 
A Reminder
The brethren of Frenni Lodge would like West Wales Mason to issue a Festive reminder about the West Wales Grand Charity Raffle to be drawn at The Provincial Meeting in June 2024. Tickets are £2 each or a book of five for £10. There are four prizes which have been donated by the rulers in the Province and can not be bought by money alone.

Presentation to Carmarthen's Prize-fighter Gym
Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro. A. James Ross delivered a few knockout punches recently during the presentation of £2,500 to Kevin Evans former Wales’ Commonwealth Heavyweight champion at the Prize-fighter Gym in Carmarthen. For the full details click here. 

 
Brother Glynne John

Bro. Glynne Henry Thomas John, you and I stand here today because you have decided to hang up the sword of Tyler of Aberystwyth Lodge and retire. A post you were first appointed to in 1968, 55 years ago, before many of the initiates you have attended on over those years were born, even before any Bro. here became a Mason. Haverfordwest & St Davids' Air Cadets
Earlier this year James Ross, head of West Wales Masons was able to make a
generous donation to help fund the purchase of adventure training equipment for the
Haverfordwest & St Davids Air Cadets.For more click here. 
 
St David's Lodge Widows Xmas Lunch
Earlier in December an enjoyable Xmas Lunch was enjoyed by the Widow's of St David lodge at The Nelson Hotel in Milford Haven. The Worship Master accompanied by his two Wardens and the Lodge Almoner entertained their special guests with a sumptuous lunch and perhaps the odd carol or two.
