Hello & Welcome!
If you're thinking we sent out this month's issue of "Kat Bytes" a tad early, you are RIGHT! That's because we are hoping to FINALLY get our new website in the next few days and I didnt want that to coincide with this newsletter... just in case the new website needs a bit ot tweaking!
So go ahead and get started without me. I've got much to do to get ready for this exciting and long-awaited event!

Lydia Stang made this, her 2nd Sling Along as a special gift for a friend and added a detail which her friend LOVED…a subtle turtle applique. |

And this amazing Bangle Buddie was created by Heidi Munk and she says that she is WAY in love with how it turned out! I can see why! |

And everyone’s hero, Don Distler is back & has blown everyone away with his modified version of our Sling Along.
Don got a wild hair & decided to add an insulated hydration system to
this version. His work never ceases to amaze, does it?!

And isn’t this Sling Along the cutest? It would’ve been fun to carry on the 4th of July for sure! Diana Duggin created it and the fabric was gifted to her. |
|
 This stunning Sling Along is the workmanship of Gayla Martell. She says she used all Kaffe Fassett fabrics and what a brave combination she chose… and they TOTALLY work together! |
|
Dawn Eratt says that this Bangle Buddie was a bit of a challenge on her old machine but she LOVES how it turned out and now she can add it to her SKD collection!

I am totally in awe of this amazing Everyday Attache Raewyn Simpson created using cork w/foil flecks! If you’ll notice, she even used cork
as the bias tape binding around the edges & it looks like perfection!

|
 After completing two Sling Along‘s Lydia Stang took this HipBag Hybrid apart to correct a couple of errors and VOILA! its now a resurrected beautiful bag! |
|
 Jenny Brooks started this Walkabout Wallet a couple of years ago and just recently finished it and here’s the deal... she
loves it so much that she just might make a bag to go with it now! |
|
 And finally, here’s Heidi Munk's take on our Bangle Buddie. She says she LOVES this design and folks stop her all the time
to ask her about her bag. This particular Bangle Buddie is a gift for her
sister-in-law! |

Our new pattern will be releasing by the end of September, & we want to make sure that YOU are aware of it's availablility before anyone else, since we know that its our Kat Bytes subscibers who are our most loyal customers! AND... for reasons too numerous to list here, we've had to delay the pattern release until our new website was up and running. And FINALLY... it pleases me no end to be able to announce that it MAY actually go live this weekend (at last)! The only hitch is that we'll have to "go dark" while the Internet is re-directed to the new site. If you need to order something in the upcoming days (or this weekend) and find that our site is down, please feel to call us at 866-409-8634 (its toll-free). So... what if you don’t have any dishcloths already (or you only have a couple)? That’s how these DIY reusable paper towels came about. New York on Monday became the first state in the country to ban cat declawing, a practice that animal advocates consider cruel and unnecessary. Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo signed the bill into law after state legislators passed the ban last month.
