TSE All-Share Index
The TSE All-Share Index ended today
little changed, closing up 0.03% at 77,001. The top performing sector of the
day was Machinery & Electric Equipment (+3.55%), while Utility Service
Providers (-0.89%) recorded the weakest performance. The sector with the most
traded value was Base Metals (+0.64%) with IRR 184 billion (approx. USD 4.8
million) worth of trades. Today the main movers of the All-Share Index
included Kharg Petrochemical Company (PKHA +4.41%), Khorasan Steel Company
(FKAS +2.70%) and Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Company (CHML +2.08%).
Khorasan Steel Company was also the most traded stock with IRR 87 billion
(approx. USD 2.3 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the
TSE fell 38% from yesterday, reaching IRR 2,652 billion (approx. USD 70
million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty
largest companies by market capitalization closed at 3,114, down 0.06% from
the previous trading session. The biggest gainer was Kharg Petrochemical
Company (PKHA +4.41%) while Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company (PNBA -1.52%)
dropped the most. The total traded value of the top 30s amounted to IRR 290
billion (approx. USD 7.6 million), a slight gain of 0.6% from the previous
trading session.
