Provincial Grand Chapter 2019/20
There are two Chapter installations in October they are Unity Chapter at Llanelli on Tuesday 8th October and Aeron and Peterwell Chapter at Aberaeron on Friday 25th October. For further details contact the relevant Scribe E.
 
THe Mackworth Club
The Mackworth Club has a number of functions coming up over the coming month both social and Masonic.  Firstly, the Club have a table at the Caerfyrddin Installation on Thursday 3rd October, then Carmarthen beer festival at St Peter's Civic Hall Carmarthen on Saturday 5th of October and finally they are planning an overnight stay at the Saint Padarn installation on Thursday 17th October.  For further details about the club click here. Provincial Caravan Club
In August Brian Thomas, who of course is a longstanding and senior Mason in this Province and his wife Jill  hosted a week long rally in North Wales at Penley which is on the Shropshire Border outside Wrexham.

The Travelling Altar
At the St Elliw Chapter Installation the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent presented the Princiapls with a brand new Travelling Altar to start it's journey.  The principle is the same as the Travelling Gavel and it is hoped that it will encourage visiting within the Province, for full details click here.

It was a busy night at the St Elliw Chapter Installation where the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent also presented the Past Second & Third Provincial Grand Principals with their collarettes. The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent explained that they would normally have been presented at the Provincial meeting but unfortunately he was busy being installed himself.
 
Over The Moon Lantern Parade
The spectacular and much-loved Lantern Parade returns to Haverfordwest on Thursday 31st October at 7pm. Over The Moon Lantern and Light Event is a celebration of space and the night sky; marking 50 years since the 1st moon landing and imagining life beyond earth. The West Wales Grand Charity has given a grant of £1200 to help facilitate this community event. Full details of the event and how you can get involved can be found here. As you may well be aware, Buzz Aldrin was the First Freemason on the moon, truly Masonry Universal!
