The August contest is on! We'll be rewarding the 1 person who takes the most creative picture in front of the 2nd floor B&P sign. It can be silly, artistic or representative of what you've learned in class. On the last day of each month, we'll choose one photo and repost it to our Instagram page. That lucky person will get to claim one of the below prizes:
- a free 3 class package (aerial/pole or conditioning)
- 15% discount on your next traincation
- a free Body & Pole shirt
Just post your picture to Instagram and tag it with the hashtag #bodyandpole to enter for August. While group shots are welcomed, only the person who posts and tags the picture will be entered. June's winner will be announced on Instagram on 8/31.

Steel & Stilettos incorporates exercises to strengthen all you need to strut your stuff, with a sharp focus on your back, core, legs and confidence! Bring your favorite pair of pumps or heels and get ready for the runway!
Steel and Stilettos Fitness class suggestions:
-Please bring a sensible (3-4" or less) heeled shoe, sneaker wedges are also permitted. Shoe heel soles should be in good repair, to avoid damage to dance floor
- Wear comfortable fitness attire. You should be able to move freely and feel beautiful in you outfit. Shorts should a minimum cup your bottom!
- A portion of the class will be without heels, please wear sole pads if you are not comfortable with bare feet/socks.
**This is a conditioning class and will be at the regular conditioning class rate. Conditioning packages can be used for this class.**
AERIAL SCHEDULE CHANGES
Starting August 4th, our Wednesday Level 2/3 Fabrics classes are being flipped:

Also, due to all the awesome events happening at the studio, please double check your schedules as classes have changed to accommodate these events.

Description:
1. Professional Stage. The U.S. Aerial Championships are proud to provide performers with a professional stage to showcase their talent. The Rose Nagelberg theater is an official NYC-based off-Broadway venue. The theater offers 20 feet of fly space, a complete lighting grid, two huge dressing rooms, a green room, and a huge warm-up room with hardwood dance floor, ballet bars, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. There will be a complete dress rehearsal with full lighting and sound, so performers are ready to take the stage in the live show!
2. Platform. The U.S. Aerial Championships are working on securing prize money & publicity for the winners. Their goal is to offer a platform for professionals to use as a springboard for their careers. All performers will have access to professional video and photos of their performance.
3. Submission is FREE.
4. This event is open to everyone over 18.

Work It Dance and Fitness

This workshop series is specifically designed to teach plus size students the foundations of pole dancing. Over a five week course, Roz "The Diva" will work with you on basic spins, floor movement, transitions and conditioning. Students will also experiment with tempo, eye contact, posture and moving with intent. Those brave enough are encouraged to perform at the upcoming student showcase!
