Happy Spring!
We greatly appreciate your participation in the fundraisers over the last several weeks. Our Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser resulted in $3,258 being raised for the American Heart Association. Our POP Fundraiser was an amazing success as well, raising funds for field trips and assemblies. Our kids are looking forward to celebrate this success at our "Day of Awesomeness" on May 26th. Thank you for your support!
Our lunch menu is now available online and can be accessed at the following link: https://fremont.nutrislice.com/menu/elementary-daisy-brook-pathfinder/lunch/2023-03-23. We are happy to continue to offer breakfast as well, however we will no longer be serving breakfast after 7:55 AM to allow our students to be in class at the start of the school day.
We begin state testing shortly after returning from Spring Break. Your child's teacher will be sharing a testing schedule with you to keep you in the loop of how you can support your child during the MSTEP test. A letter regarding the testing is also attached to this message.
Next week is SPIRIT week as we wrap up Daisy Brook Reads and head into spring break. Here are the details for each day next week:
Monday: READ A SHIRT DAY (wear your favorite shirt with words on it)
Tuesday: READ A HAT DAY (wear your favorite hat with words on it)
Wednesday: PJ/COZY DAY
Thursday: GREEN/FROG DAY (Wear green or something with frogs on it)
