It's November, dear friends, and this year we are feeling extra thankful for each and every one of you! This month we are focusing all our energy on gratitude and peace. Each stitch can be a moment of meditation. Each project a tribute to the people and things we are so thankful for, add a bit of love and peace into every stitch.
To this end, we are beginning our Giftmas KAL/CAL this month as well. Each day we will be posting gorgeous, sustainable, handmade gift ideas for you to make for those you love most. Let November be the time that you pick out a yarn that calms both your soul and your fingers and then stitch up something that reminds you of whoever or whatever you love the most (and that could, and perhaps SHOULD, be you!)
Come by and be hopeful and peaceful with us. We look forward to seeing your beautiful faces soon!!

“Smalliday Sets” are the Emma's version of advent sets. They call them “Smallidays” because the idea is you open one “Small” a day during the holidays! Each mini skein is individially wrapped and meant to be kept secret until the first color is opened December 1, and another each day after for 24 days total.
We have the 2024 Smalliday Sets are available in Practically Perfect Sock or Simply Spectacular DK base.
Each kit includes:
- 24 individually enveloped and numbered “Smalls” in either base. All 24 colors are new and were developed for this set!
- an Emma’s Yarn sticker
- a Love + Leche “Sweet Sheep” Lotion Bar in a NEW custom wintery scent
- a super cute set of Birdie Parker stitch markers
- scannable QR code insert with knit and crochet pattern suggestions that will work perfectly for the colors we’ve developed
- Everything is packaged in a HAND-DYED “Emma’s Yarn” cotton Work+Shelter project bag.
We can’t tell you what the colorways look like, we aren't even privy to that information,
but if you are blindly looking for a coordinating color, we have been assured that “After Dark” and “Grayscale” are both safe bets this year! We also know that this year's colors are very different than years past, so there should be no concern over getting the same sort of colors again.

The November Crazy Beautiful Color of the month from Emma's Yarns is a lighter take on autumn's colors. Burnt oranges fade into glowy peaches and spots of berry pinks stand out among spots of winey purples! It’s firey and fabulous, and so perfect for fall!
As usual, the color plays well with a huge variety of coordinating colors! Pictured here (top to bottom) with Date Night, Cactus Flower, Roasted, Born In A Barn, Pumpkin To Talk About, Aloha, Gosh Garnet!, Where’d That Man-go?, and Petal.

For our November and December shop KAL/CAL, we will be focusing on holiday projects- both projects with holiday themes (advent calendars, stockings, decor) and projects meant as holiday gifts. This is your chance to get an early start on those holiday projects and get help and support along the way. For those of you longing to get something new on the needles, Robyn created a Ravelry bundle with several pattern ideas if you need some help finding the perfect project. She is also available if you need help finding a pattern for a particular yarn.
All ReBelle knit alongs are free and open to the public. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the KAL sessions as you like.

Dotty Cowl
This beautiful and interesting cowl uses a reversible double-layer stitch pattern which results in a two-in-one piece for your accessory collection. Constructed by working in the round with two contrasting colors of sock weight yarn, the stitches are worked into two lower rounds at the same time, making it fun and interesting to work up.
This class requires basic crochet skills and we would recommend it for the adventurous beginner to intermediate crocheter. We will be using double crochet and chain stitches, along with the slip stitch, to create several special stitches that give the Dotty Cowl its unique look and texture.
