Clove Oil
Clove bud oil has a spicy, fruity, warm and sweet aroma. Clove oil has antiseptic and stimulating properties and is a good mosquito repellent. It has been used as a mouthwash and gargle and is comforting when rubbed onto gums. Clove Essential Oil is also used as a muscle relaxant and soothing agent.
Some traditional uses for clove oil: Toothache, colds, flu and fungal infections, as a mosquito repellent, to relieve fatigue and melancholy, as an aphrodisiac.
Clove oil blends with rose, ylang ylang, clary sage and bergamot essential oils.
Caution: Clove Essential Oil is a strong skin irritant and must be
well diluted before application. Do not use during pregnancy.

Frankincense Essential Oil
|
Frankincense has a haunting woody/spicy fragrance with a hint of lemon.
It originates from the Middle East, mainly Iran and Lebanon and was used by the Egyptians to soothe aching limbs. It also has been used in the past to aid meditation as it slows down breathing, producing feelings of calm and elevation. It's comforting and refreshing action is helpful for anxious nervous and depressed states of mind and its excellent effects on respiration are useful for asthma sufferers. Its properties help relieve heavy periods and it is considered a general tonic to the uterus as well as helping to soothe the stomach and ease digestion.
Frankincense also has a positive effect on coughs, colds and flu, as it regulates catarrh and has a soothing action. If you suffer with asthma then you frankincense in the evening, ease breathing problems. Use Frankincense Essential Oil in your face cream (1 drop in 5ml) it wonderful for your skin. It has anti-aging properties; it is wonderful for dry skin & works well on thread veins.
This oil blends well with Sandalwood, Pine, Orange, Geranium, Lavender, Patchouli, Basil, Black Pepper and other spice oils.

News from Justine - Can you help?
|
We are now in our busiest time of the year.
Orders are whizzing in and parcels are whizzing out and, as a consequence, we are getting very low on packing materials. As you know we like to re-use packing materials whenever possible to help keep our prices down and to do our bit for the planet.
If you live in or near to Stafford and have any cardboard, bubble wrap, brown paper etc. that you could spare us we would be very grateful. We are particularly on the lookout for foam.
