Matthew 14:32-33 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."
BE PREPARED
What will this day be like? I wonder. Many of God's promises are not specific about what lies ahead of us in this life, or how He will deliver us in the day of trouble. Many times He simply assures us that He will be with us when we "pass through the waters."
Perhaps you have noticed how sometimes little children want to go along with their parents, even when they don't really know where they are going. It is enough just to be with their beloved parents. And it is enough for God's children just to be with Him, no matter what direction their lives may take.
When Jesus brought Peter back into the boat, that mighty wind ceased! And when Jesus gets into the boat with us, we too are safe. He brings us a deep peace that no storms of this life can touch, no, not even death.
Then ...
Away all fear and sadness, For the Lord of gladness, Jesus, enters in!
Those who love the Father, though the storms may gather, still have peace within!
Yes, whatever I here must bear, You are still my purest pleasure,
Jesus, Priceless Treasure!
