POSTER THIS TIME !!Material must be placed out by Sunday, March 29 for collection – anything placed out after this date may not be collected. Council will tour the Island on the morning of Monday, March 30 and place stickers on any unacceptable material – if you find your material has a sticker, please remove it from the road and make alternative disposal arrangements. Building materials will not be collected – only material classified as “manageable quantities” cut to the required size will be collected. Please contact contractors for collection and disposal of building materials. Unacceptable material not collected leaves our Island roads looking unsightly. If possible, try to contain/bag small items for easier collection and less litter left behind – especially screws/nails or the like as these can cause tyre punctures! ENERGY AUST. CLAIM INFO Helpful Info regarding making a claim following a power outage June Lahm kindly sent this though... This may be useful information for everyone on the Island after the "blackout" . I am sure some people will have lost food from their freezers and as we were "off grid" for over 12 hours we should all be eligible for the $80. ....The completed form can be returned via email to NCI_Group@energy.com.au, or alternatively, you can fax or post it (the details are on the form). You may also be entitled to a payment of $80 under EnergyAustralia's Customer Service Standards in an instance where an interruption you experienced lasted too long (12 hours or more). Please read the attached information and if you wish to submit a claim for payment under the Standards, complete & return the Customer Service Standards claim form with your Network Investigation Request claim form.....
