Happy Social Work Month!
Hi --

I am writing to you today to wish you a Happy Social Work Month! March has been designated as the month to honor and celebrate our profession. The National Association of Social Workers has adopted the theme, "Social work paves the way for change" for Social Work Month 2015, and I want to thank you personally for the ways in which you individually pave the way for change in your social work practice.

If you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media, you may have noticed that our Social Work Month Series & Talent Show has been going on all month. THANK YOU to all who submitted entries for this series. We received so many entries--writing, artwork, music, poetry, and more.

I am so honored to tell you that THE NEW SOCIAL WORKER has been nominated for a 2015 NASW Media Award. You can vote for us in the Trade Publication category of the 2015 NASW Media Awards.

Thank you for being a subscriber to THE NEW SOCIAL WORKER's complimentary electronic edition or to the monthly Social Work E-News. Please click below to make sure you aren't missing out on any of these free publications.

This month's highlight: The New Social Worker's Social Work Month Series & Talent Show!
We asked social work practitioners, educators, leaders, and students to send us their writing, art, music, poetry, and other creative work for this year's Social Work Month Series & Talent Show. The result is a wonderfully diverse collection. We are still adding selected items every day through the end of March. You can scroll through the whole series by starting at Welcome to Social Work Month 2015, and then clicking the link to the next entry at the top right of each article.
