We've been working on this one off and on for about three years.  A lot of living happened while we were trying to finish it.  Children were born.  Houses were moved.  Emergencies happened.  Sometimes when projects like this drag on and stall it's easy to think it just won't ever get finished.  So THANK YOU so much for sticking with us and listening to the music and coming to shows and encouraging us with your support.  We really appreciate it.

 

We hope you like it.  We think it's the best sounding thing we've done so far.  We recorded it with the very talented producer and engineer, Mike Reina at The Brink in Centreville, VA.  The band (Bryan, Dave, Arch and Mark) played their asses off, and we have guest stars like Lara Supan of South Rail on backing vocals, Alissa Moore and Dayana Yochim of The Cowards Choir on violin and cello, and Ken Francis Wenzel on the saxophone.  Cameron Whitman took the awesome photos and Mukti Desai laid out the beautiful artwork. 

 

We are super proud of this album and hope it becomes a part of your summer soundtrack.  I'll be posting some more about the process on individual songs over on instagram.
