Opening weekend was fantastic! Please join us for the other upcoming April weekends at Dekalb Market and participate in our amazing
outdoor market. Aside from our pop-up retail container shops
(see press links below) - we offer:
* At least 30 retail & food outdoor vendors showcasing arts & crafts, antiques, new & vintage clothing, jewelry, furniture, prints and more
* Beer & wine garden featuring local brews
* An onsite garden providing vegetables, classes, etc
* Activities & workshops for adults and children centered around cooking, farming, gardening, and arts and crafts.
* Live music & DJ sets
* Much more programming to be announced as we move along....
We strive to curate an outdoor market filled with innovative makers to sell their handcrafted wares and food. Have a business involving arts/crafts education for kids or adults, a local farm or eco-based organization? Come up with something new altogether? Want more involvement in the community and improve your visibility? We would love to have you at one of our activity/workshop tents. Once we receive your sign up form to be a vendor or lead a workshop/activity, we will go through a careful selection process to ensure a variety of products and experiences.
About Dekalb Market
Dekalb Market 2012 will include: Dance parties, free open-air markets, unique foodie events, bike in movie nights, lobster boils, roller derbies and an ongoing series of special live music performances. All of this alongside the new permanent Dekalb Market Beer & Wine Garden, featuring local craft beer, wine and sangria, the ideal spot to hang out with friends, relax in the sun and take a break from the excellent shopping, set against the gritty-cool urban backdrop of downtown Brooklyn. Open seven days a week, locals and visitors can now spend a leisurely morning, afternoon or evening!

FEES
Crafters/designers/packaged food (no electricity):
$100 each day // $175/wkend
Cooked food vendors (including electricity):
$150 each day // $250/wkend
**Additional vending weekends within a calendar month will award you a
10% discount (*full weekend participation only).
Fee: workshops/activity areas (no electric) // FREE
Six foot Tables // $10 each Chairs // $2 each
DEADLINES:
APPLY BY: TODAY, MONDAY April 9, 2012 at 5pm
NOTIFICATION BY: Tuesday April 10 at 5pm
PAYMENT DUE BY: April 12 at 5pm
Those who do weekend must remove belongings overnight Saturday. Market organizers
are not liable for any loss or damage to products or personal items.
