5/20/19

The Class of 2019 has left the nest. They are on their own paths now. I always struggle on the Monday after graduation. I get too attached to the kids and then when they leave, I always feel a little sad that our time is over. I know they are going to do great things and I am very proud of them but I still miss them. I've come to accept it as part of the life.

I thought Graduation went very smoothly. I so appreciate the time and effort required by so many people. Wendy Ingersoll and Mary Pekel put a lot of time into making things run smoothly. It may have went too smoothly. I never would have guessed we'd have so many requests for an indoor graduation from now on. People keep emailing me how much they liked it better than outside.

We have a half day on this Friday and no school on the following Monday in recognition of Memorial Day.

Our final Orchestra Concert is tonight at 6:30.
