In The News...

You are in luck!  Here are two of Lori's new articles from the Dayton Daily News:
Crossed Off For Good...

Once you complete an item on your to-do list, cross it off your list with a pen by running a line through the entire task listed instead of using a checkmark. This method keeps you from re-reading the completed task at a later date. Now stay more focused on what you still have left to do.

Focused To Finish...

If you feel overwhelmed when trying to organize a room, cover the areas you’re not working on with sheets. By not seeing the whole room at once, you’ll feel less overwhelmed. This will also help eliminate some distractions so you can stay focused on one area at a time.

This tip is especially helpful if you or your children struggle with getting organized because of ADHD.

One Last Thing...

When my children were young, they would wake up on St. Patrick’s Day to find that the leprechaun had played tricks on them during the night. One year, he took all the green clothes out of our closets and threw them about the house. What was this organizing lady thinking?!

Stick with dyeing the milk green. A few drops of food coloring and the magic takes place, without the need to hang all those clothes back up.

Enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day!
