Behind the Scenes and Scholarship Deadlines This Week

We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Also, please remember that we'll be archiving these ideas on the siteowner web site, so that you can go back and view them whenever you like.

Register This Week for August's Behind the Scenes

This is the final week our discounted hotel rates are available for the Behind the Scenes tour at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm (farm will be open at time we visit) and Roba Family Farms (very close to opening) from August 17-19. Scholarship Deadline: Apply By July 17

There's still time to fill out scholarship applications! Below is a link to the page in the private toolbox where the online application is located. Applications are due July 17, 2016.

Due to the generous support of the Corn Party auction, this year 6 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled for full-time upper education (i.e., college, tech school, etc.) in the fall of 2016. Applications will be reviewed by the MAiZE Advisory Board and winners will be announced by August 7.

Those eligible to apply include immediate family members of current MAiZE farm owners, or any farm employee who has worked on your farm for at least 3 years. Those who have applied in the past are encouraged to apply again, as long as they have not yet received the scholarship. Past winners of this scholarship are not eligible to re-apply.

Applicants must be enrolled to attend college (or other forms of higher education) this fall. Payment will be made directly to your college of choice. We appreciate all those who contributed to making so many scholarships possible this year.
