We end the year with a poignant reminder of the looming MDG's as 2015 approaches.
The exhibition mainly features the works of Na Chainkua Reindorf whose concerns about achieving these targets has prompted her to use her design fabrics to mimic the language of expressions oft used in our wax prints to jolt us to some awareness.
Her piece entitled Agbogbloshie(pictured above) has captured issues surrounding environmental and health concerns associated with the disposal of e-waste in Accra.
Other artists include Rochelle Martin, Oko Martey, Kofi Dawson, Emmanuel Adiamah with sculpture, prints, mixed media and works on paper.
Showing at the Nu Gallery, and continues till 31 January 2015.

The final show in the year by ATW explores the delicate balance of humility and strength in this Adinkra symbol through a fusion of traditional, popular and contemporary dance.
Whilst preparing for this piece ATW held a series of workshops with students from La- Bawaleshie school who designed their own symbols.

Do join us for pre-Christmas drinks before or after the programme!
