Secondary Water Shut Off
The Secondary Water will be shut off on Saturday, October 13th.
Weber County Thefts
At our last Town Council Meeting Lt. Pledger reported to the Town that there have been a rash of auto and home thefts in Weber County, including the Ogden Valley. The majority of these thefts are from unlocked vehicles. Please keep your cars and home locked and valueables out of sight!
PART-TIME WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR, HUNTSVILLE TOWN
Huntsville Town is seeking candidates for a part-time Water Treatment Operator position. Essential Duties include: Daily plant checks, sampling on required schedule, maintenance of pumps, online instrumentation and associated mechanical equipment and computer systems. Candidates will work in compliance with Utah State Drinking Water Regulations and be able to work with other operators in a team environment. Qualifications include: High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years job related education, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Level I Drinking Water Treatment Certification is preferred. Candidate must obtain Level I Water Treatment Certification within 6 months of employment. Basic computer knowledge of MS Excel is a plus. Hours are flexible and less than 30 hours a month. Candidate must live within 1 hour from East Huntsville and have a desire to learn and commit for the long term. Huntsville Water Supply Presentation
At the Town Council Meeting on 9-20-18, Council Member Bill White made a power point presentation regarding the Huntsville Town water supply. If you would like to listen to that presentation, it is located on the Huntsvilletown.com webpage under "Government" and "Town Council Agenda and Minutes." Bill White's presentation is about 30 minutes into the audio portion of that meeting. His presentation slides will be available after the Town Council Meeting Minutes are approved.
Drive-Thru Flu Clinic on October 2nd!
Weber-Morgan Health Department invites residents to roll in and roll up their sleeves at drive-thru flu clinic. The first drive-thru of the season will be October 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the health department parking lot, 477 23rd Street in downtown Ogden. Please see attached flyer for more details.

2018 Weber Fire Open House
The 2018 Weber Fire Open House will be held Wednesday, October 10th at Station 61. It is located at 2023 W. 1300 N., Farr West from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Join them to learn about fire safety and prevention, emergency response teams and your local fire department. See attached flyer for details.
"Touch-A-Truck" Event
This unique event will be held Saturday, October 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Huntsville Park. Please see attached flyer for details.

Happy 90th Birthday Ralph Keoppel!
Ralph Keoppel will celebrate his 90th Birthday on October 20th! Family and community members are invited to join Ralph at an open house in his honor. The celebration will be held Saturday, October 20th from 1-3 in the afternoon at the Huntsville LDS Cultural Hall. Please stop by to visit with Ralph and enjoy yummy snacks and cakes!
