The ‘2010 Spring Fashion Week in Pittsburgh Model Search’ is seeking models for our ‘2010 Spring Fashion Week in Pittsburgh’ fashion show which will be held in April. We are looking for teens, women and men of all ethnicities, shapes and sizes! The Model Search will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 12:00pm-4:30pm at the New Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville, PA. The R.A.P.H.A. Program (Rodman Pittsburgh AIDS Initiative) of the Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church, in collaboration with BONACILE ENTERPRISES, will present yearly ‘Spring Fashion Week in Pittsburgh’ and ‘Pre-World AIDS Day: AIDS Couture Fashion Extravaganza’. We are inspired by the devastating effects of AIDS in our society, by being a part of the fight, and personal experience with the fashion industry and AIDS pandemic to bring this event to Pittsburgh yearly. Our partners in this endeavor are Sabrina’s Fashion Consulting and Mama E’s Kitchen, both of Pittsburgh, PA.

The “2010 Spring Fashion Week in Pittsburgh” will commence Sunday, April 11, 2010 with a kick-off reception meeting the models and designers. The Fashion Week continues beginning on Wednesday, April 14 through Friday, April 16, 2010 and ending on Sat, April 17, 2010 with a spectacular fashion show to raise awareness about the AIDS pandemic in Pittsburgh and Africa.’ This is the second fashion event to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS. The first was the ‘Pre-World AIDS Day: “AIDS Couture Fashion Extravaganza” which was held on November 14, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Pittsburgh University Center in Oakland.
