Dear classic car enthusiast,
In recent weeks, twelve newly arrived classic cars have been driven and photographed. A gorgeous Jaguar E-type 4.2 FHC 2+2, a beautiful Morgan 4/4, and a rare Alfa Romeo Alfetta 1800 from the first series have already been sold. Above you see the radiator mascot of a super original ‘Derby’ Bentley 4¼ Litre from 1937, a statement of ultimate craftsmanship and sublime quality.
Today I present you a varied mix of desirable models from almost 60 years of car history from 1937 to 1994, where it is surprising that the newest car (Morgan +8) looks almost as classic as the oldest! Also special is the number of different engine types; three-cylinder two-stroke (Saab), four-cylinder boxer (Alfa 33 Sport Wagon), four in line (Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Triumph TR 3A), six in line (Bentley 4¼ Litre), eight in line (Bentley Speed 8) and V8 (Allard K2, Morgan +8, and Mercedes 350 SLC 5.0).
Personally, I attach great importance to the motorization of a classic car. The appearance of a classic car is for many an object of beauty, nostalgia, art and/or desire... For me as a driver, owner, enthusiast, the appearance is very important, but the deeper passion is fuelled by the character of the car. For me, the character is formed by the handling, the comfort (or in both cases the lack thereof), but especially by the combination of combustion engine and gearbox; the (goosebump-inducing) characteristic sounds, the subtle vibrations, the smells, the controls and interaction to release and restrain the power... Our hobby is a complete experience of beauty, mechanical interaction, historical interest, nostalgia, and the desire to enjoy driving and traveling in a time capsule every now and then!

Triumph TR 3A, year 1960. Colour red combined with a black leather interior finished with white piping and black carpet. Black soft top. This beautiful Triumph TR 3A was sold new in the US and first registered on June 30, 1960. In 1998 the car was imported into the Netherlands and subsequently body-off restored. Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC 5.0 (C107), year 1978. Colour silver metallic combined with a blue leather interior and blue carpet. This fantastic Mercedes 450 SLC 5.0 was sold new in Italy, the car was imported to the Netherlands in the year 2000. The car has only driven 146,000 kilometers from new. The 450 SLC with 5.0 V8 engine is a rare and desirable classic Mercedes model, only 2769 examples were built. This Mercedes 450 SLC is in a very good and super original condition! 'Derby' Bentley 4¼ liter Open Tourer, year 1937. Colour 'two-tone' green combined with a cognac brown leather interior finished with pale brown carpet. Black mohair hood. The 'Derby' Bentley cars were built by Rolls Royce after taking over the brand in 1931. The Bentley 4 ¼ was built in the 'Derby' factory and was one of the best automobiles on sale at the time. This beautiful example was sold new in Great Britain and was imported to the Netherlands in 2007. Since then, the car has been cherished by one Dutch owner. Allard K2 Roadster, year 1952. Colour matte light blue combined with a red leather interior. This rare Allard K2 Roadster was sold new in the USA where it spent 37 years with the first owner. In 2010 the car was imported to Europe and extensively restored in Belgium. As of 2010, the car has had only one owner; This Allard K2 roadster is in excellent condition and the car drives impressively.
