TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share
Index slipped 0.37% to close at 78,990. Telecommunication (+0.54%) and
Machinery & Electric Equipment (+0.44%) were the only gainers among major
sectors. Losers were led by Other Financials (-2.06%) with declines seen
across the sector. Automotive (-0.87%) remained the most traded sector with
volume of IRR 96 billion (approx. USD 2.5 million). The All-Share Index was
mostly impacted by Jam Petrochemical Co. (PJMZ -1.33%), Mobile
Telecommunication Co. of Iran (HRMZ +0.76%) and Khouzestan Steel Co. (FKHZ
-1.87%). For the second day the market’s most traded stock was Silica Sand
Mfg. Co. (+4.90%) with volume of IRR 75 billion (approx. USD 2.0 million).
Total traded value of the TSE reached IRR 2,456 billion (approx. USD 66
million), up 191% from yesterday. Debt securities and block trades accounted
for 58% of the total volume.
TSE30 Index
The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization also
dropped, losing 0.29% to close at 3,062. The top performing share was Mobile
Telecommunication Co. of Iran (HRMZ +0.76%) while the biggest faller was
Tejarat Bank (BTEJ -2.35%). Total trading volume for the top 30s gained 27%
to IRR 223 billion (approx. USD 5.9 million), boosted by higher trading in
Mellat Bank (BMLT -0.10%) and Mobile Telecommunication Co. of Iran.
