The ability to master a mix can be a powerful tool. You can change the mood of a room, coax people out of their seats, and even get away with terrible, reflective hair like Pauly D. Of course, it's not as simple as just picking two tracksl. To make it to the top of your game you'll need to master the subtleties of programming, scratching, and transition. DJ schools can be a great place to start or to add to your arsenal of skills.

LADY FREQUENCY,
CANADA
Lady Frequency grew up next to Detroit on the north side of the border where at a
young age she was introduced into the techno scene. While attending university and working at a high traffic nightclub in
London, she was fascinated by the world of DJing. After a few lessons with the club’s
resident DJ she quickly bought two turntables and hasn’t looked
back since.
Most recently, Lady Frequency has returned to Toronto after a whirlwind in Grand
Cayman where she held three residencies at the island's hottest venues. Although she
has a love for many genres, Lady Frequency can currently be heard spinning
signature deep house vibes. |
RYAN KRAMER,
USA
Ryan started out as a promotions assistant in Denver back in 2003. Moved to Tulsa in October of 2003 to start out with a part time overnight shift at CHR/Top 40 KHTT. Then over to Urban KJMM about 6 months later for full time overnight shift which turned into full time night shift. He Left Tulsa to take on full time midday shift at CHR/Top 40 KSME in February of 2005. Named MD in September 2005 and added APD stripes January 2006. Elevated to PD on an interim basis in June 2012 and permanent in November 2012. In September 2013, he made the leap to Austin to become the APD/MD of KHFI and KPEZ. Not tough to see that music and DJing are in his blood!

CHRYSTAL MANN, USA
Chrystal Mann has a wide range of talents including: event coordination, radio broadcasting, MCing, and 12 years of DJing large & intimate crowds. She has been dominating the club scene in Minneapolis by playing shows at virtually every major nightclub venue in town, including the historic First Avenue Danceteria. She has successfully promoted, hosted, and executed the well known “Bassgasm” electronic music festivals at First Avenue, alongside Woody McBride, since 2010. You can catch her playing a range of styles, most notably liquid funk and house music.
She is known for her “funky” sets and busting out her trademark cowbell. Chrystal embodies the old school vibe of getting down on the dance floor, shut up and party.
