DPIC 2016
I recently reported that BPS came joint 2nd in this year's WCPF DPIC competition. Sadly, because WCPF are only allowed to send two clubs to the national final in July, they have selected Exmouth Photo Group to represent them, along with Taunton based f8 Group. Exmouth have been chosen over BPS because they gained more awards on the day.

24 Hours in Bristol 2016
24 Hours in Bristol 2016 – Midday Saturday 16th to midday Sunday 17th April. One day in the life of one extraordinary city, captured hour by hour …. for ever..
Now in it’s fourth year Bristol’s unique photographic competition challenges both professional and amateur photographers to capture the essence of one day in the life in Britain’s most vibrant and photogenic city.
In an interesting twist on other photographic competitions, entrants are randomly allocated a specific hour of the day or night during which they must take at least one entry photograph. This gives entrants an added challenge and ensures excellent hour-by-hour coverage of one day in the city.
For more information and to enter this year’s competition visit their website.
