Tomorrow sees the start of the new 2020/2021 BPS year which, as is tradition, kicks off with the Chairman's Evening. Ralph Snook ARPS DPAGB EFIAP/b has promised us an evening to remember and says of his talk:
I spent some time thinking about content for the evening and in the end decided that I would go for Nostalgia in the first section, and some images from the States in the second.
The first half recounts a trip/expedition to a remote part of Zambia a long time ago that was not without it’s amusing and unexpected content. This was one of the trips that contributed to a major change in direction for Margaret and me but more of that …..
After the break, a more recent series of trips to Yellowstone (hot and cold) and then Florida, don’t worry it’s not all wildlife and there may even be one or two images with people in!
I’m going to enjoy the memories, I hope you will too, see you there.

Projected Image Competition |
Tomorrow is the closing date for Round 1 of the 2020/21 Projected Image Competition. The subject for the Prescribed Subject for the Advanced section is "Creative", which for this round is intended to give a showcase to members who were
unable to enter the cancelled Creative competition earlier in the Summer. Images submitted to this
round will, according to the rules, also be eligible for the 2020-21 Creative
competition, which we intend to run.
If you are in doubt about any of the rules relating to the competition, please follow this link.
